Operational Update November 2024

CBL
Some of you have already prepared for the upcoming holiday season, to increase your CBL requirements using additional LTH or STH contracts. If you still have demand, please arrange it early. This is because our SVF Stock locations are closing due to stock counting. They will be closed from Thursday December 19th to Friday January 3th. Do you deliver within the VERSFUST pool and should you need help with determining the amount of your LTH contract, do not hesitate to contact our Contract Controllers via [email protected].
If you have broken CBL that you wish to exchange for new CBL, please do so before December 16th 2024.
Validations
As you may have heard this year, all long-term rental contractors will be validated at least once every two years. Validation is a benchmark at which we check with the contractor whether all the CBL packaging under contract, is still under our management. A time when we deal with any surpluses and/or omissions and align the administrations together. Among other things, this enables us to better monitor the balance in the pool.
Contractors that will be validated in 2025 will receive an invitation from us in January. To ensure these validations run smoothly, we ask for your cooperation in this, as we did this year.
Versfust Pool
With the holiday season approaching and the busy end-of-year period, Pool Service is preparing to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible. As always, it is important that you provide your delivery dates on time to keep your balance up-to-date.
To support this, we recommend that you check the 'Dispatch Overview' and 'Transaction Overview' PS reports on a weekly basis. If you have any discrepancies and/or questions regarding the above please feel free to contact/via [email protected].

Timely collection of empty CBL
Due to the many deliveries, retail depots are often packed during this period. To guarantee a safe and workable situation at the depots, we expect you to collect your CBL as soon as possible in accordance with the rental conditions. If it is short leased packaging, this is also directly to your benefit, as you will no longer pay rent. Through good cooperation it should be possible to keep the level of empty CBL at the depots at a good and safe level. We are counting on you!

Demerger Boni Markt b.v. - Picnic

To date, Pool Service B.V. has managed the balances of suppliers Picnic B.V. and Boni Markten B.V. under one retailer: BONI. From 5 October 2024, this will change.
Current retailer BONI will no longer be visible within Track Online as of 5 October 2024. For Picnic B.V., balances will be allocated to new retailer PICNIC and for Boni Markt B.V., balances will be allocated to new retailer BONI MARKT.
In case you now supply to both retailers, the current balances will be distributed as best as possible by Pool Service. As of 5 October 2024, the balances will be split. Pool Service will ensure that the split is controlled and will be successful.
If you deliver exclusively to Boni or Picnic, you do not need to change anything yourself. All GLNs for the relevant DC or FC(A) locations remain the same and will be automatically converted to the correct retailer. For the delivery of CBL delivery dates to Pool Service, you also do not need to change anything in this case.

Adjusted opening hours Retail depots Easter

Easter is once again around the corner and eggs, Easter breads and other goodies are making their way to shops. After Easter, we expect another large flow of empty CBL crates from the shops back at the retail depots.
To guarantee a safe and workable working environment at the depots, we ask you as a supplier to collect your CBL crates as soon as possible, in accordance with the rental conditions. Our planners are at your disposal if you have any questions, remarks and/or requests.
Please note that depot opening hours may vary during the holidays.

TrackOnline Implementation - Information for Suppliers and Retail Depots

Earlier, we informed you that Pool Service Avalanche will replace TrackOnline. Through this message, we will keep you updated on the progress and relevant aspects surrounding this change.
Test phase successfully completed
TrackOnline has been functionally integrally tested over the past few months. We are happy to report that the tests were successful and that we are moving on to the next phase: shadowing. In this phase, we will test the functionalities of the system on a large scale using a copy of real deliveries, orders, stocks and balances. Assuming this phase is completed successfully, we will start preparations to go live on 23 October.
For current Avalanche users, instructional materials for TrackOnline will be made available by the end of week 41. Furthermore, the transition from Avalanche to TrackOnline means the following:

In week 42, current Avalanche users will receive an invitation from TrackOnline to create login details in TrackOnline. If you do not receive an invitation, please let us know via the e-mail address below.

On Friday 20 October from 17.00, the Avalanche system will be switched off. This means that there will be no access to Avalanche from then on. This is necessary to migrate the data correctly and completely from Avalanche to TrackOnline.

From Monday 23 October from 07.00, Track Online will be available and you will be able to log in.
Suppliers, what does this mean for you specifically?
- Delivery information can continue to be transmitted as usual; that will be captured on the Pool Service side. From Monday 23 October 14.00, delivery information will become available in TrackOnline and will be visible to you shortly afterwards.
- We ask you to place your orders through Tuesday 24 October in Avalanche no later than 5pm on Friday 20 October.
- Monday 23 October from 07.00, Track Online will be available and you will be able to log in. You will be able to view your orders and balances from then on.
- From Monday 23 October 14.00, it will be possible for you to place new orders in TrackOnline for collection from Wednesday 25 October in accordance with the known rules of the game.
- If you have rush orders (for collection up to and including Monday 23 October), please contact Pool Service by phone on a regular basis.
- During the weekend of 21 October, the Pool Service consignment service (0570 - 667 140) will be available as usual.
- Finally, we would like to ask that all open transactions such as contract releases or surrenders be completed and closed in Avalanche.
Retail Depots, what does it mean for you specifically?
- The last moment to enter stocks in Avalanche is Friday 20 October no later than 08.00.
- Please note: Stock must be entered into TrackOnline on Monday 23 October between 07.00 and 08.00. So this first time, only 1 hour is available to enter stock levels.
- The last time to confirm issues in Avalanche is 5pm on Friday afternoon, 20 October. Please have everything confirmed by then.
- As Avalanche will no longer be available from 5pm on Friday afternoon, 20 October, it is advisable to rotate out or save the issue schedules from 20 to 23 October.
- From Monday 23 October from 07.00, TrackOnline will be available and you will be able to log in.
- Confirming issues in Track Online can be done from Monday 23 October 14.00.
