What is Pool management?

Pool management involves efficiently planning and administering logistical flows for a pool of Reusable Transport Items (RTI), which includes inventory, contract, and financial management.

It is particularly suited for fresh products in the food industry, such as vegetables and packaged meat or fish. These products must be suitable for transport using logistics carriers that are reused multiple times. Here, you can think of pallets, crates, or roller containers.

To maintain our position as one of the fastest rotating pools in Europe, it is crucial to register all deliverables and returns centrally. We therefore utilize an independent ICT service provider that ensures retailers and manufacturers retain ownership of their data.
